One of our members, Vladimiro Valerio, was awarded the prestigious Helen Wallis Award in 2017 for his lifetime achievement on the history of cartography. He becomes the fourth member of our society to have received this prestigious award. The other members are Valerie Newby, Wulf Bodenstein and Albert Ganado.
